Bless Unleashed is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by Round 8 Studios and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One in 2020. It is a reboot of Bless Online (which most people didn't know existed). You start of the game with the character creation, which is quite good in my own opinion, and select from a number of classes like Hunter, Priest, Berserker, Mage, and a number of other options. Afterwards, you awake....to a dream. You hear a voice calling for you, asking for your help. You also conveniently go through the fighting tutorial. There are a number of abilities each class can use based of the current "Blessing" you have equipped. This does take place in a world with new mythology with a number of gods and beings, many of which you can attain a blessing that allows you to use a different group of abilities. After fighting, you wake up in a place called "Astera" You are on of the Orphans who were adopted by a priestess who is known as the strongest mage in all of Astera. You grew up here and enjoy a peaceful life, though that dream still trows you off. Why would you be fighting....demons? Just as you debate this in your head, a group of evil mages (one among them named Gidion) attack Astera and kill the priestess and everyone in Astera. You however manage to fight your way through and while heavily injured, are saved by a man named "Don Diego" an adventurer who visited Astera. While you have no idea what happened to your home town, friends, mother, you are determined to find out why Gidion has done this, and stop him. This game is quite good. There is quite the leveling and skill point system that can be very frustrating to get over, and the fights can get quite repetitive at times, but that only after you've played for THAT long. Each class is very unique and offers so many different things, its quite great to get a taste of all of them. That is....if you could create more than 3 characters at a time. The story is very interesting, but gets very.....political. There are a LOT of loading issues, though i guess having such a beautiful game that was meant to run on PC be on Xbox and Playstation won't exactly be all natural.
All in all 8.1/10 would complain about running out of inventory space again. No i would not.
