Sleeping Dogs is an action-adventure video game that was developed by United Front Games and published by Square Enix. The setting takes place in Honk Kong and follows the story of A Chinese American man named Wei Shen. He is an undercover cop that has been given the task of infiltrating and finding the weakness of an organization called the "Son On Yee" Triad organization. The game focuses on your's and Wei Shen's ability to shoot, punch, drive, aim, hack, assist, jump, and even sing! Wei as an undercover cop in the Sun On Yee has to be a believable member which leads him to pretty much taking the cop-out of undercover. In the game, Wei (or the player) has the power to make choices in the Free-Rome world of being true to the Sun On Yee or staying faithful to his position as a cop. Performing actions such as busting drug trades or preventing sex trafficking will boost your cop experience, preforming actions such as taking down enemies or completing races. You can get experience for both by completing the main story and so much more. The game was inspired by GTAV and Batman: Arkham Asylum, in the sense of animation and fighting system. This game has a very fun (and brutal) story and has great development. There is always a bad side though. This game's free Rome can get pretty stale after beating the story. There are other side missions to complete though. This game has no multiplayer game mode, the only other type of online form of gameplay is having leaderboards in average points of the game. All around, this game is very slept on and I barely hear about it anymore, it definitely deserves more recognition and is pretty great.
All around 8.6/10 would play for days at a time again
