Riding Out Today.

Outriders is a cooperative action role-playing third-person video game developed by People Can Fly and published by Square Enix's European subsidiary. It was released on April 1, 2021 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia. "Earth was gone. We destroyed it" So begins a very odd and surprisingly dark story. As the route explains, this game takes place in a world, where earth blew up, only a singular ship made it off the planet in search of a new inhabitable planet called "Enoch" After the ship finally lands, you step out of the ship, after you create yourself of course. The group you are with are called "Outriders" The first group of people who landed on Enoch and determined what steps to take next. There is a lot on your mind here, you had a family, so did everyone else, there are over half a million people sleeping in cry right now and you are on a new planet with unknown danger. ay. You go out to explore after a short talk with some buddies an a shooting tutorial, your squad comes in contact with a dangerous black substance that seems to be contagious and you return with unwelcome arms. After fighting your way through many resisters, you yourself are shot as a deadly Anomaly storm approaches you and the other Outriders. A fellow Outrider puts you into Cryo until the medical team can save you. They could not. 30 years go by. Resources are low and the Anamoly storm blocks out any form of escape. Those who were left alive during your sleep, debated whether or not to keep those 500,000 people in cryo alive, or to let them die in their sleep. Eventually, this begets war. Those people eventually were awakened, and each took their respective side after a not so peaceful form of confrontation. You are once again thrown into the Anamoly storm by those who call themselves "insurgents" but unlike most, you don't die. You instead attain powers that you must customize and grow. You become "Altered" You fight your way back to base, and realize that you are the only outrider left alive from the incident 30 years ago. You must now fight your way through a multitude of Insurgents to get your people to safety, and to find a place beyond the storm. This game is....New. There are many problems and bugs that can occasionally mess up game play. Though other than that, the game is beautiful, it has LOTS of lore that I love finding and putting together, many side quests that feel real in terms of story building, good plot and pacing, and looks great with modeling and lighting. Though, endgame.... After completing the story...It gets bland. Its pretty much just gearing up to do the same missions again and again and again until you get tired.

All in all 8.6/10 would feel anger about getting the wrong loot again.
