Online school. Screw it all

During the time when we all believed that our "lockdown" would be nothing more than a n extra two weeks to our spring vacation, it has become clear that we were all very foolish. What comes around must go around and we were eventually told that school would have to continue. At the time nobody really knew what it meant. Does that meant that we are going to have to go to school anyway and risk becoming a vector for a spreading virus? or will we simply not have it? and we got the answer to both our questions. It is now 3 weeks into our new online school environment and i am absolutely falling apart. We have begun using a new website called canvas, which I find very strange and stupid as we could have continued using google classroom. You know the thing we have been using for the past 3 years and know to heart. Anyway, teachers began hosting school zoom meetings. In an attempt to make it seem like a normal class. with all the classes being very very very very different at home then they are at school (obviously) things have become much much tougher. people (including my mother) takes this even more seriously than actual school since you are at home and everything is literally packed into one device where you can access anything and everything. Though that is exactly the reason that this is so difficult. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING is packed into this thing. There is hardly any organization and rarely ANY means of communication between teachers. Meaning that you can and most likely WILL have many MANY assignments due on the same day and multiple on the following. In terms of the individual class, it becomes HARDER. In game design, we are going to have to learn to how to model online, and since i don't have a Windows pc, i'm going to have to learn twice the material and will have twice the work. This fricking sucks. Will i be able to survive this? inevitably i'm afraid. Will it be easy? never. will i want to quit? yes. Will i get yelled at? most definitely. Hotel? Trivago.
