Ok MAYBE I Overeacted

We recently began working in Adobe Animate in order to create a simple animation. The process was completely complicated by me being me but it was a solid process. I looked into different types of animation that's usually done in Animate. I then looked into my vision of what I want to create. I'm seeing a connection through the Adobe software and there purpose in creating a project. In this case, You use Adobe Illustrator to create models like characters, objects, and backgrounds. Then you use Animate to piece it together. Those are the only things that we have done so far but I know that there are still more ways to make an animation. Something to record sound and voice-overs, something to add effects, and something to finalize it all. I've always wanted to make my own anime but I thought it would be right to make a manga first. In those cases, the process can be quite problematic but that's what's fun about it. The situation is very similar to the process of animation. You have to Write a Story, Create Character Profiles, Write Your Story, Think conflict, Layout the storyboard, Bring It All Together, then Publish. It also makes me think of the process of character design, I realize that there is an Adobe Character animator but I don't think the design is made into that software. I attempted drawing, no not drawing, TRACING and image with a drawing pen and almost died trying to stay on the lines. Yet people are able to easily create entire characters in the midst of 10 minutes. I understand that it takes practice but this seems unbelievable, but also something that I want to achieve someday. We are currently doing an "idle animation" project that requires us to make a scene where a character of the environment does an animation after being in static movement. I've been known by my digital animation teacher to bite off more than I can chew but I think that's exactly what I want to be remembered for. Hopefully for managing to swallow, but ill take what I can get.
