Goodness i have not gotten a new game in a while since i'm still just appreciating the ones that i currently have. It appears in going back to games that i haven't played in a LONG while. Heres hoping i don't run out of games to review. Anyway, Beach Buggy Racing is as it states is a racing game published and released by Vector Unit. There is not much to say about this game as it as only as fun as you make it. Regardless I will do my best to explain the games meaning like in my other game reviews. The game starts off with a tutorial describing the controls, and given the choice to pick a single character to start the game off with. Each of these characters has their own special ability they can use once a race while they are driving. The characters listed are Rez, MCSkelly, Disco Jimmy, Bzorp, Oog Oog, Benny, El Zipo, Leilani, Beach Bro, and Roxie Roller. The main goal in this game is complete all available races and unlock every character available, as well as to collect every car available and maximize all of their stats. In order to do that, you need to compete in championship races that aren't all just about coming in first. Some of them will require you to take out as many other players as you can using the variety of power ups that are on the race tracks, others will want you to beat a previous score you made in another race, and others will simply want you to beat a track in a certain amount of time. The more you upgrade your car and use that and more cars in order to complete career races to unlock characters, as well as compete in championships, the more qualified and better racing vehicles they will become. This game is......fine. Its a relatively cheap game for 10.00 but it does not feature any type of online mode and is pretty empty once you have completed your career and upgraded your favorite car. It can be pretty fun to experiment by seeing what character goes with which car but there is only so much to fulfill. I definitely recommend playing with a group of people or even just with one.
Anyway 6/10 Would have some Family time with it again.
