I Want My Art To Be Truly Mine

So after being only in the house for two months, i have discovered something. I like nature, But thats beside the point. I could go on and on about all i've done and want to do during being stuck in the house, but then this wouldn't count as a post and i would get a bad grade. Ive been doing a lot of digital art recently

. Wether it's been original art, or taking multiple pieces and combining them with my own Elijah touch. There is not a lot to talk about because of all this time i have spent inside the house. So i'm going to go as far in depth into my own ideas. I have recently figured out how to do shading as you can see from the illustration. It is not the best i know but i will explain. See that guy in the orange? that is the anime included version of my friend Jeremiah. If you couldn't already tell the graphic takes place in the Naruto Universe. I made a Whole STORYLINE and character design to all of those i wanted to put into the universe. Which is only 3 of my friend's but it still counts. The one on the far left is my friend Jason and the one on the right is me, i'll let common sense let you figure out which one i am. The one in the back is the main villain of the ark and the kid on the right is the Naruto spin off protagonist "Boruto" I'm going to get back on the topic of art momentarily but I am really passionate about this. I have quite a few more of these graphics i've done before. Some better than others but these graphics are the same reasons i want to improve so badly. All of the images besides the villain in the back all came from reference images, and Boruto is just a literal image. These character designs i picked for me and my friends are all from separate anime's. I just though that they represented us all in the best way. I am not skilled at drawing at all. This is all basically improvising and tracing. It pains me to admit it but it's true. That is why i wish to become better at art. Granted this all came from adobe illustrator and Photoshop but i still feel like i could do something. I don't want my dream to be copied off of another's work and thats why one day i want to be able to draw one of these graphics on my own without reference pictures.
