During class we were asked to create a fire hydrant in 3ds max. Pretty simple right? especially for someone like me whos been in game design for the past 3 years and has modles entire mazes and buildings before. NOPE. 3ds max's interface is something I 100% need more practice with. Ever since I started using Illustrator, ive been able to see the shapes in everything, so I can't say the the start of the model was hard, being the main body. However the moment I needed to add more detail with bevel, extrude, and inset, Elijah fell apart. However, I was able to become a bit more attuned to 3ds max and I did learn some things about hierarchies in the layers of models, and how to make edits. I managed to keep at it and stay consistent with my work. So i cant say my hopes completely gone. CANT WAIT FOR THE HOUSE.
